CAN WE DECORATE THE SPACE HOW WE WANT?

Of course!

As long as fire and other safety are taken care of, you can build a party that looks like you.

We also have a lot of decorations in stock (vases, candlesticks, cups, etc.) that you can freely borrow.

WHAT KIND OF LIGHTING IS IN THE PARTY HALL?

The lighting of the ballroom can be modified for many purposes, as it consists of separately controlled sets that can also be dimmed. It's worth coming and trying it!

DO YOU HAVE A SOUND SYSTEM?

Yes it is! 

The entire party space has a speaker system through which the sound can be heard evenly from all sides.

Two wireless microphones are also available. The ballroom also has an induction loop and a Bose portable speaker is available in the outdoor areas.

CAN WE BRING A BAND?

Of course!

The band can be placed in many different places in the ballroom and they have their own backstage downstairs.

They bring their own sound systems and we also have a power supply for those if necessary.

Outdoor music must be agreed upon separately.

DO YOU HAVE A PIANO?

Of course!

ARE THERE FIRST AID KITS ON THE PREMISES?

Basic first aid supplies can be found upstairs in the staff quarters.

We also have a defibrillator.

DO YOU HAVE HIGH CHAIRS?

There are 5 of them.

DO YOU HAVE A SCREEN?

Yes, there is a screen in the ballroom, in the downstairs meeting room, and in the sauna building.

IS THE SPACE ACCESSIBLE?

There is a ramp leading to the building's front door. There is a threshold at the front door, which a wheelchair may need assistance to cross.

The interiors are accessible and you can use the elevator to move between floors.

There is also a wheelchair accessible toilet.

The ballroom has an induction loop.

CAN YOU ARRANGE A FLAG FOR OUR PARTY?

Sure! 

We have three flag poles and Finnish flags on them. Flags of a few other countries can also be found in stock, but of course you can also bring your own flags.

CAN THE PARTY BE HELD IN WINTER? IS IT COLD INSIDE THEN?

Our activities are year-round. 

Our premises have geothermal heating, which helps the premises to always retain basic heat.

For parties, we can heat up the premises more, and most of the time, people heat up the premises significantly already at events of 50 people.

WE WOULD LIKE AN OUTDOOR MARRIAGE. WHAT IF IT RAINS?

No worries!

The ceremony can also be conducted indoors. For that, a plan can be made in advance, so on the wedding day you can proceed according to the weather.

IS A SUMMER SATURDAY CHEAPER IF I ORGANIZE JUST A DAILY EVENT?

Summer Saturdays are so popular and there are so few of them that we only sell wedding packages for them. There is more flexibility on other days of the week and in other seasons.

IS IT HOT INSIDE IN THE SUMMER?

Our premises have mechanical ventilation, but no air conditioning.

In the summer, you can open the upstairs windows and also keep the doors open to the garden, so the air changes. Of course, it can get a little warm during the hottest days.

WE WOULD LIKE TO ORGANIZE FIREWORKS, IS IT OK?

Kappelinranta's neighbors live quite close to our party space, so setting off fireworks is unfortunately not allowed.

On New Year's Eve, we can make an exception for those times when shooting fireworks is otherwise allowed. In this case, the matter must be agreed upon separately.

DO YOU HAVE ACCOMMODATION?

We do not rent accommodation, but next to the party venue is our neighbor Kappelinrannan Asunnot Oy, tel. 0400 313160. Their apartments are often rented out for the long term, but you can always ask about the situation.

CAN YOU COME BY BOAT?

Despite its name, Kappelinranta is not (anymore) located right by the water, so it is not possible to come directly to the party by boat.
